15 Free Gardening Lessons

The most important step I suggest you take first is to join the tens of thousands of people who have gone through my short online course.

In it, I give you 15 organic gardening lessons for becoming a better gardener.

I'll show you the most important steps for installing and maintaining an organic garden, with a focus on an organic vegetable garden.

Book: Building Soils Naturally

My book was published in 2012 by Acres U.S.A. In it, I share how to create productive gardens using a variety of methods, including:

  • Using compost/microbial inoculants to balance the soil food web, because these organisms nourish plants
  • Controlling plant predators and weeds forever, without chemicals, by focusing on the root issues
  • Soil testing and full-spectrum organic fertilizing, both crucial for healthy plants

About Me

My name is Phil Nauta. I'm a certified organic gardener.

I grew up working for my parents in their garden center.

I never thought I would stay in the industry after so many years of cutting grass and digging holes.

But I fell in love with gardening when I learned this organic way of doing it, and became incredibly passionate about the methods I was learning.

My main areas of expertise are growing nutrient-dense food and improving soil and garden health.
